Even crazier—it seems to just be up until 2011! (Initially thought you meant it only went back as far as 2011 and I was like, “yeah things do feel like they've changed pretty rapidly in recent years”)

Very interesting! A few disparate thoughts:
- played in reverse it looks like boys & girls at a ceilí
- seems be v roughly around the time of the collapse of the USSR that things accelerate (not implying causality but intrigued)
- relative distance is interesting but would be cool if possible to see who is doing the moving
